Self Practice
Self-practice is possible for members outside of class times and subletting - see timetable.

Beginners
Important for everyone who would like to try Ashtanga yoga:

  • On Tuesdays from 6 pm to 7.30 pm Ashtanga Yoga is taught in the traditional form of Mysore.
    Here the teacher takes a step-by-step approach to teaching and can provide individually tailored support.
  • On Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the first series is practiced together in the group up to the beginning of the sitting poses (Pashimattanasana).
    Then, depending on how advanced your practice is, you move on to the next positions from the first series.

    The teacher announces the asanas (exercises) at the beginning, later makes adjustments or explains the poses, if you have any questions.
